CLC provides a variety of opportunities for exploring the open space resources of Lexington and surrounding communities.
Guided Walks
Every spring and fall CLC offers guided walks on conservation lands in Lexington. We occasionally offer winter and summer walks as well! (For a listing of current walks click on the link below.) All walks are free — you don’t have to be a member to join the fun! If you attend any of our walks, we welcome your feedback. Let us know what you thought.
The Town of Lexington Conservation Division provides online maps of all conservation areas.
Self Guided Activities
For those who prefer self-guided opportunities, CLC offers a variety of topics and destinations.
Interpretive Sign Project
CLC’s newest project envisions a series of interpretive signs that will be installed on conservation properties throughout the town. The first sign in this series on the subject of vernal pools may be found in Hayden Woods. The second sign in the series on the subject of bio-diversity has been installed in Parker Meadow, with a target of adding 2-3 additional signs annually. (Click on the buttons below for more information on each sign.)
