Come learn about Lexington’s treasured organic farm, with its unique history, mission, and
location adjacent to local conservation lands. After an informative tour, including a discussion
of sustainable farming practices, the experimental garden and native planting efforts, we’ll
proceed to check out the nearby Arlington Reservoir. We’ll then walk through a few
neighborhood streets to see how Monroe Brook connects these areas with the northeast part of
Arlington’s Great Meadow (located between Mass Ave and Lowell St in Lexington.) Meet in
the LexFarm farmstand parking lot on Lowell St. More than light rain cancels; no rain date.
