Lexington’s urban forest is made up of all the trees in yards, in parks, and along streets across the
town. Trees improve our lives by making Lexington a cooler, cleaner, more beautiful place to live. But
trees require care from the people and Town of Lexington to stay healthy and strong.
The Town of Lexington is developing an Urban Forest Master Plan to set a vision for the future of its
urban forestry program. A presentation about the Urban Forest Master Plan will be accompanied with activities and prompts to provide input, and will be followed by an “Ask an Arborist” Q&A session.
The presentation will be hybrid and interactive, where those in attendance will be able to suggest ideas and provide feedback about their experiences with trees in Lexington.
Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
