SUMMARY:Citizens for Lexington Conservation’s 2025 Annual Meeting-A History of Lexington Conservation Lands
DESCRIPTION:CLC is thrilled to announce that Charlie Wyman will be our 2025 Annual Meeting speaker.\nCharlie will discuss the history of the town’s efforts to preserve its environment and\nnatural heritage through conservation land acquisition\, and will offer brief profiles of some\nof the more interesting acquisition projects. \nCharlie Wyman has served as both the town’s Conservation Administrator (1984-88) and a\nConservation Commissioner (2009-2012). Most of his working career was as a project\nmanager for land acquisition projects\, first for The Trustees of Reservations and later Mass\nAudubon. Retired since 2016\, he has served on the town’s Sustainable Lexington\nCommittee and currently is chair of the Conservation Commission’s Land Acquisition\nSubcommittee in addition to helping lead Lexington Living Landscapes. \nIn addition to our speaker\, we will hold a VERY brief Annual Meeting.\nLight refreshments will be served. \n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the LexCAN and the Town of Lexington’s Sustainability Fair 2025!!This fair will be held at Lexington High School Commons 1 and 2\, Worthen Road Entrance. The fair will highlight topics from clean energy options and applications\, electric vehicles\, composting and more! You will hear speakers\, be educated on sustainability practices from composting to heat pumps\, and support local organizations. Local vendors will showcase solar panels to heat pumps\, and you will get a chance to connect with town committees. There will be food and coffee for sale\, family friendly activities\, and an EV car showcase where you can test drive EVs on Lexington roads. \nDon’t miss out on this special community event! \n\n\n\n\n\n  \n
